Molly Masiello, Director
Molly joined FR&C in March 2014 and brings a wealth of experience in prospect research and management in the Higher Education sector. She specialises in prospect research and management, data analytics, and database management.
She held prospect research positions at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California, as well as the University of Sydney. Prior to her positions in the fundraising space Molly spent 10 years as a librarian, working at the Los Angeles Public Library and the State Library of Western Australia.
Molly is based in Canberra.
Nick Wall, Data Administrator and Researcher
Nick joined FR&C in January 2019 as Data Administrator and Researcher bringing with him robust experience in database and records management, prospect profiling and preparing grant proposals. He previously held prospect research management and grant writing positions with the University of Newcastle.
Prior to this, Nick worked extensively in the admission and coordination of international students at UoN. With a strong working background in the mental health sector as a psychologist, he worked closely with not-for-profit organisations such as the Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW. He combines his work at FR&C with his legal studies.
Nick is based in Newcastle.
Lauren Vertigan CFRE, Senior Researcher
Lauren joined FR&C in October 2022. She brings more than 14 years’ experience in the not for profit sector, specialising in prospect research, major gift fundraising and campaign planning.
Lauren previously worked at the Brotherhood of St. Laurence where she managed fundraising operations, major donors and the prospect research program, including due diligence research for BSL partnerships. Through her previous consulting experience, Lauren has worked with clients in education, arts, health, welfare and environment.
CFRE qualified, she also holds a Graduate Certificate Business (Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies) from Queensland University of Technology.
Lauren is based in Melbourne.
Kathleen has provided freelance research and data services to FR&C since its early days, pausing briefly to have her two children, and now works with us from her home on the NSW south coast.
Charlotte Grimshaw, Founder and former Principal
Charlotte has more than twenty years’ experience in the voluntary sector in Australasia and the UK. She founded FR&C in 2003, specialising in prospect and donor research, donor development and major gift/prospect management consultancy.
She stepped down in March 2023.
Work in the UK included Marketing and Fundraising Director for Greenpeace UK, Head of Individual Giving for the Royal Shakespeare Company, and extensive public speaking at the IFRW and UK fundraising conferences. For Greenpeace International she worked as Regional Fundraising Consultant for the Asia-Pacific region. She was a board member for Greenpeace UK 2011-2018
